Recent details have emerged regarding the shocking demises of renowned director Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday.

A Discovery

A source indicates quoting a person close to the family, a practitioner arriving for an session was the first to notice something was wrong after not being able to enter the house. The therapist then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides nearby.

When she went into the house, Romy discovered her father's body. Accounts indicate she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Her roommate who had accompanied her contacted 911. Afterward, emergency responders located Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Developments

Authorities have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of murder in the first degree, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, said to be a knife. He is currently being held and is ineligible for bail.

The anonymous source challenged several previously reported details. It was stated that while Romy Reiner informed first responders that her brother Nick lived in a separate structure on the grounds, she did not point to him as a person of interest at that moment.

Nick Reiner was arrested at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park area, about 15 miles from the residence. He was set to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his lawyer, Alan Jackson, indicated his client had not received medical clearance and would be unable to attend until no sooner than Wednesday.
