Mohamed Salah Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Salah expressed regret to the team in the wake of the fallout from his televised remarks.
The Incident
Salah was left out from a vital match after voicing frustrations and claiming his relationship with manager had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has refused to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
He also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “I understand there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

Their results have been impressive in the games following the initial controversy. He feels the Salah's words were never meant to cause disruption.
