The First Game Pass Games of 2026 Reveal Xbox Is Still Fighting.

Across the gaming landscape, enthusiasts continue to ring the funeral bells for the green team. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a platform few have heard of. Dedicated Xbox communities are now publishing content on PS5 topics as a new development. Last year proved to be complete chaos for Xbox and Microsoft. However, judging purely by the titles headed to the service in 2026, it becomes clear that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with strong games on its key platform.

The Available Now Titles

The two games you can play right now today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with an intergalactic heist adventure. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "the perfect cocktail of terror and combat."

Intriguing Niche Additions

However, the more modest titles set to join the catalog are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Robust Selection of Games

In summary, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, nor are they massive exclusive blockbusters that justify the service alone. Yet, this selection are rock solid. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and new-ish games that failed to receive the spotlight they deserved the first time around — transforming them into ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
